"Not only was I travelling rough, I was doing life pretty much alone. I think I was like a lot of blokes who have friends, but not the sort I could really talk about my life to. I’ve made a couple of real friends from my MENDS group and we continue to be part of each others’ lives. This was a really unexpected bonus from the program; over and above the tools I got that helped me."
